Early Season C&R Barbless Hooks Repealed

    It seems like this is flying under the radar and just wanted people to know that it is on the WI DNR Website. WI DNR Fishing Regs.’09

    Once into the regs, scroll down to page 9. It has been strikelined and has the word “repealed” behind the reg.

    So, southern zone is open May 2 and I can pusrsue Bass except for Croix which is May 23 and the northern zone is June 20?
    So confusing.

    The northern zone is C&R only through June 19th. It is “not” barbless hooks only. Starting June 20th you can keep 5 bass over 14″ if you like.

    ahhhh. Good news. Since I only C&R bass that means they are open for pursuit everywhere starting Sat. Thanks.
