Last year bass early open water!!

    Sorry guys to show you this but this was caught by a buddy of mine while we were out last year on April 6th. Caught from open water on the Miss not too far from MPLS/ST Paul. Went 6.9lbs. on a tube. I don’t think we will have open water by April 6th this year. Did you see the weather report for next week? 22 for a high on Thursday!!! Will it ever end?!?!

    We are looking at lows of -5 and a +14 High for Thursday! YEESH! 15 days until I kiss the portals of Everts Bait shop…Come on Spring!!!

    Last year I was fishing on march 26 or 27th and did well this year im guessing I will be fishing the same spot around the end of march and will post pics of what i catch

    That’s a nice fish…This morning Bucketmouth1 and I went out for a little while in the rain this morning.We were fishing a bay that opened up this past week. I caught a little 14″er and had two other bites. All I could do was laugh at the people ice fishing

    Ya i missed one on my spinnerbait he was atleast 6 pounds.. jk…but i was very surprised to see a bass swiping at a spinnerbait this early in the year

    I’d love to get a swipe from a spinnerbait right now. The closest I can get to that is watching Charlie Moore catching little sallies and larries on his show.
