I’m thinking of fishing the downtown Minneapolis area for some of the great smallmouth bass I have always heard about. I have several questions. First of all where does a guy land in the downtown area and are they public or pay ramps? Second, what techniques and baits should a guy be using this time of the year. I do not have much river experience and what little I do have is on pool 4 or 5 in the spring. A little help on getting started would be much appreciated. Also how well marked are the problem area’s on this strech of the river. Thanks in advance for you input and Info.
