After a weeks long vacation with 400+ miles logged with a 5 year old and a 3 year old I needed a break today! It’s been almost 3 years since I went smallmouth fishing on this small stream. I was due to go back!
Today was just what I was looking for! I treated myself with a new rod and reel from Angler’s Nook and with 2 dozen crawlers I was on my way!
Talk about fun! I caught many small ones under 10″ and a few hogs!!! Below are some pictures I took today. A bonus walleye was landed. I was floored! Again, I was fishing a VERY small stream!
The bass in these pictures were 17 and 1/4″ 16″ and 14″ I never measured the walleye! Plenty of suckers, and a surprise soft-turtle!
