I’ve tried several time to switch over to Flurocarbon on my spinning rods and have not been happly with it. I’ve had lots of problems with the memory and with it jumping off the spool. I tried the Leader to fireline set up this last weekend, but the wind catches the line and it’s almost impossible to keep good contact with the bait with that setup. I’m going to give Fluro another try and wanted to know what Brands all of you have tried and what you have found to work the best, Also what pound test do all of you go with. I’m mostly going to use the spinning gear for light plastics ( Texas rigs, Splitshot rigs, Weightless plastics. I really like the fluro on the baitcasters, but have had nothing but trouble on spinning gear. I have heard from a few people to use a lot of line conditioner on it to help with the problems. I have never used any of these products. If any of you have used some of it I’d like your opions on it as well. Thanks in advance for your response.
