This week the weather had begun to warm up again, but the forecast through Saturday calls for more precipitation in the form of rain. This won’t be good for the level of the river.
“La Crosse is talking ‘no-wake’ for the river this week due to the high water conditions,” Monsoor said. “If that happens, anglers will have to stay close to the launch. But that isn’t bad because there’s a lot of water within idle distance of the launch.
