My trusty crankbait rod broke last fall after 8 years of use and I am in the market for a new one. I have always like fiberglass for cranking and I was looking at getting a Fenwick Elite Tech Crankshaft rod or one of the American Rodsmiths H3 David fritts cranking rods. Both are 50/50 hybrid rods with light, very sensitive graphite in lower half and then fiberglass in the upper half.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these rods? Any help would be great.

    Eric
