Drop shot question

    I was wondering about drop shot in thicker weeds.
    First, does the height/type of the weed make a difference?
    Second, How far of a cast will you make with a dropshot rig in this scenario?
    Third, is there a minimum or maximum depth where you would use the dropshot?
