Anyone else read the “setting the hook” artcile in the latest Bassmaster and see that Rick recommends using a heavy power fast action rod with crankbaits, and also a hard agressive hookset? This seems to fly 180 degrees from the common modern thought of using lighter action, parabolic rods with crankbaits. Anyone else out there using heavy action fast rods with cranks?
