looking for an old In- Fisherman article,smallies

Hi old guys, well lets say well seasoned guys.. (I am an old dog too). I am looking for an old In-fisherman article about winter smallies in the river. anyone know what the number of the book this article was published in? I would appreciate it.. I called In-fisherman and believe it or not, they don’t have all their articles on computer or by topic.. Most but not all ..

I have some old issues,about 3 or 4 years worth,from the mid 80’s…..
If you want I could look thru those….might take a few days…got a lot of projects lined up.
Let me know if you think that article is from thosse years.

This most likely isnt it but good reading anyway float and fly winter smallmouths pool 4 dec jan 1997. pre spawn river smallmouths march 1996. I tried good luck DK.

My dad has almost every issue from the beginning to the late 90’s. If you know around what years I could look for you.
