Dear Abby, Is it just me??

    Dear Abby,
    This time of year I feel like I should be able to get out and really hit the largies and smallies hard. On Pool 5a I have been struggling over the last 2 weeks. I have been expecting them to be on the tips of wingdams or edges nearing deep water. I just have not found then in any type of large pods ready to eat.
    I read Steve D’s stuff and all I can say is.. What the Hell am I not doing?
    Now when the water cools a bit more I have a pretty good idea on what has been effective in the past.
    For now I have just SUCKED!
    Advice would be appreciated.

    Dear Struggling,

    I would suggest you sell all your bass gear and chase something with some teeth. Pool5A has some monster eyes that start to show themselves this time of year.
