where are the fish

How deep will the the bass be both smallies and largies in this time of year in northern minnesota

There are others that can give you better answers than I can… but I usually find the largemouth schooling up on the deep side of the weeds this time of year. I dont target them, but its common to find schools of them while pulling raps for walleyes. Its still a little early, but they will be there before long as the water cools. Smallmouth usually arent hard to find in the rivers. I generally find them around rock rip rap and bridge pilons this time of year… It my be a bit unorthadox, but a fathead drifted along the structures under a flot can make for a very fun day.
