    hey just wondering where the bass are holding during this time of the year in minnesota.

    Last week I caught a few on a jig, in 3 FOW on a sandy bottom, adjacent to a deeper inside weed edge.

    Smallies on my lake are going gonzo in 4 to 6 FOW on rock humps. Caught 8 on Sunday, while perch fishing. Smallest 3 lbs. with one 4 and one 5 lbs. Bobber fishing with half crawler and #6 chart. hook. Walleyebry

    Right now on the Upper Miss River the smallies are starting to stack up on the outside bends of the river getting ready to find a good fall location out of the current. Another 2 weeks and you will be able to sit on one spot and catch 10-15 smallies. I still think the run and gun approach is your best bet right now on the Miss up here!
