3-4 inch tubes, 5 inch senkos(wacky style), topwater, and throw in a couple of muskie baits and you should be covered.

This past weekend I found smallies in shallow shoreline cover, chasing baitfish. They hit wacky-rigged dingers and topwaters (chuggers and poppers). I also found them as deep as 22 feet on rocky points, especially were there was a weed/rock transition. A 1/4 oz 3.5 inch tube worked well in the deeper water. A 1/8 oz 3.5 inch tube worked very well in less water. Tubes and stickworms seem to work most of the year, on most waters. Topwaters should be going pretty good on most midwest waters right now.

    Good luck and have fun!

Hair jigs with a craw trailer, or dropshot wacky gulp crawlers.

Top water is a great search bait and an awsome time on the water.
