Stores Always out of Popular Lure

Here we are in the middle of the bass fishing and stores just do no keep up inventory on popular lures. At least the ones popular with me. I am so frustrated with Gander and SW. They are frequently out of a color or model that seems to work best. Case in point. Floating black frogs. Either Ribbit or Seizmic Toad. Those things are rockin on my lake yet I cannot find any to buy. Rapalas are another item that rarely get restocked. Venting feels good.

It is frustrating. Most of the stores have wrapped up their orders for the summer season and are now gearing up for the hardwater season. It won’t be too long and you’ll be seeing ice houses where the trolling motors used to be.

    That’s why I shop on-line.

I haven’t been in a Gander in atleast 3 years, but I doubt much has changed.

Suzuki- I used to be a manufacturers rep in the outdoor buisness for 12 years (before kids) these retailers you are talking about buy most of their inventory a year in advance. When buying for the new season they need to take current invetory, weather trends, water levels etc….. into consideration. Most of the better retailers will be able to find what you are looking for. Plan ahead, be sure that if your local store doesn’t have what you are looking for they can more than likely find it from the stores in Iowa, (Sorry guys, just a joke, I was trying to make a point). Hang in there Suzuki. Just plan ahead.
