What are some of your favorite lures to use in clear water for largemouth.

imo it is all forage dependent.
in clear water I usually am trying to match the hatch, I think it’s mostly a confidence issue, but a fish’s senses senses are increased in clear water, and Bright or flashy colors might turn the fish off. That’s why I use subtle, natural colors for the most part in clean water. I’m no expert since I fish the river 99% of the time, but I’ve found a little success in clear bodies of water with small baits, like a drop shot worm, weighlest senko, or small tube in natural colors. hope this helps

I use the same baits in clear or murky water, but I will change my color selection and I will reduce the flash and vibration factor a bit in clear water as well. I’ll go with more natural or neutral colors in clear water. I’ll use smaller blades if I throw spinners, and the blades will give off less flash as well (like a copper blade instead of silver).

If I had to pick one bait in clear water though, I’d have to go with stick worms.

the other thing with clear lakes is to stay away from the target area instead of creeping into it. blind cast and find what you are looking for and stay back. when fishing smallies, it is bette to be back away from where you can see them laying in the rocks. most of the time i use a watermelon or a green pumpkin plastic color, size depends on what I am looking for, bigger baits are for bigger fish.
