Don’t listen to him Slop. He’s still bitter about everyone learning his secret Sammy on a C-rig technique…

Good luck up there you guys.

You have to use that one lure by that klump of weeds off that hump.

Carolina rigs and crankbaits have been working good for me. I didnt fish it last week but only 4lbs won it for 2 fish. Normally it usually takes about 8-10lbs to win it.

    Hey Slop,

I have had my best luck on a Banjo Minnow using a Popeel Pocket Fisherman!.

    BUT

now Joe Fowler, (he’s the Man!) has me wishing I could use his new rod with the patented space age tackle buddy system,

Also you cannot beat Joe’s personal tips:

Tip #1. Fish just before it rains, Why? “because it drives fish crazy”

I mean with science like that it’s got to be good!

So hopfully it will just getting ready to rain when you fish Lake Winona. Nothing better than fish going crazy!

    Good Luck on Wednesday.

PS. From what I have heard Deep Cranks have been the way to go, althougth everything has been pretty slow.
