went out on pool 11 sunday morning for some bass. i was using a few swim jigs in the usual colors with sporadic luck. nothing much to brag about.there was a huge mayfly hatch the nite before and i figured they were full of fish flys. then i remembered cade saying his secret color was hot pink. i thought what the hell. i didnt have hot pink so i tried a red and black skirt with a bright pink grub. wow it was like night and day. in the next hour i caught 16 bass. i ended up with 2 that were 22″ and 23″.i couldnt believe it.thanks cade im not sure how much of a secret it will be now.
