I got out for an hour this morning at my brothers pond. I started out on the 2nd cast I hooked into a big bass that came off about two feet from the bank. It looked to be about 18″ maybe 3.5-4 pounds. I had that one on a 3/8 ounce homemade swimjig. It was black with a blue and black head. I had a junebug trailer on it. After a few more cast with no hits I moved and quickly had a small fish take the trailer off my jig. I put a new one back on and started fishing again. I walked to the other side of the pond and made a long cast. A fish slames the jig and I feel it for about 5 cranks on the reel and it came off. I made the same cast and after 10 cranks the line stoped and I set the hook. It just took off like a rocket (there are a few Muskies in the pond) I figured I hooked up with one of them. Then the fish jumped On the first jump it looked close to 7 pounds but when I landed it the fish kept shrinking . It came in at 20″ and right on 5 pounds. After a picture I let her go to grow up some more.

I don’t know how to get a picture from my cell phone to my computer so sorry no picture to show you yet. As soon as I find out how I will put it up.

sounds like a great fish….with most cell phones, you have to have internet access to send the photo to your email so you can download it to your computer…costs a few bucks a month but might be woth it for a fish like that
