Largemouth Bass Taxidermists in Western Wisconsin

I also posted this in general fishing, but I thought I might get a response here.
I caught a nice largemouth this weekend, 22 inches, and decided to get it mounted. My problem is that I do not know where to take it. There are tons of great taxidermists around. I’ve seen excellent panfish, walleyes, pike, musky and smallmouth. I have never seen a largemouth done that I thought was decent at all. They all either have a bad paint job, or their bodies look unnatural or realy thin. Am I the only one that thinks this. I’ve spent two hour looking at taxidermists’ websites and looking at their pictures, without seeing a single bass that I would proudly put on my wall. If any of you know of any in western wisconsin, I would be interested to hear what you have to say. I would especialy like to hear from those who have mounted largemouth and I would love to see some pictures.

I personnaly would take it to jack dodge he does excelent work a friend and i had him do some perch and a musky and they turned out excellent. I had buroker do a largemouth about 8 years ago and it turned out like crap i wouldnt take anything to him and ive talked with others that have had the same experience.

Jack Naylor from this site does excellent work, PM him, I’m pretty sure he can send pictures of previous LM work quickly.

I can’t speak to a largemouth mount, but I’ve had Jack Dodge mount a walleye and a sauger and they look awesome. I also know some other people who have used him and were extremely happy with his work. I would recommend visiting his shop since you are close (he’s in Elk Mound) and see if he has any bass you can take a look at.
