post-spawn piggies in the east metro

    Today me and the man went bassin’ in the East Metro and caught some beauts! We started along the shore, just throwing some frogs, but only caught some peanuts (small males). We eventually started fishing some points and started hauling in the female piggies, approx. 3-5 lbs, with 1/2 oz skirted jigs [all terrain]. After a little lull, we moved out a little deeper on the point and put on 1/8 oz. jig worms [YUM ribbontail] and showed those lady slobs a thing or two about a thing or two. A good way to end my birthday catching my biggest bass yet!
