Here’s Dave “Swim Jig” Koonce with a nice Lake Onalaska LM Bass. Caught on a Brovarney “Slop’s Frog” pattern swim jig with a BFT Black Chartreuse K-Grub. That pattern’s been really good to Dave lately.

Here is my son Gavin with his first largemouth. He was using the old jig under a bobber technique.

I caught this one this morning on the Rock River in Illinois. I did not measure it but I think it was 17″. My biggest Rock River smallie ever.

nope I am not kidding, that was my first smallie, i tossed the jig next to a log and it hammered the jig, that was a fun little tussel getting that to the boat. I have fished them jigs for 3 years before catching my first fish on them. now I fish them all of the time, have some confidence in them. but yes, my first smallie.

Im not much of a bass guy but here is one from this memorial weekend. I caught it on a LARGE Muskie lure.

The fish was 20″ I threw it back before it got any of that unlucky green slime on my boat!

Its from Lower Eau Claire In Northern Wis..

Thought I’d put a couple of photo’s from Ron’s (Sliderfishn) and my trip from Chequamegon Bay trip last week. I landed my 2 all time personnel best Smallies at over 21 inches each…
    Awesome Trip..
