well for the first day of bass opener i went to forest lake to fish for my church league. we showed up at the landing at 6 A.M. and got headed out, we stoped and got into some nice pads, tossed a top water frog, missed 4 blowups with the bait caster, ventured further down the little channel to find another channel, we pulled in there and we caught some fish. we boated 5 legals, 14, 14 1/2, 15, and 2 15 1/2’s, nothing to brag about, but we where catching fish. it was really slow, the water clarity was about 2′. all the fish that we caught was in 4 fow and all on jig-n-pigs. black/blue, camo, and white/white. here are a few pictures from todays outing.
