I could not find a Post for adding a few Bass pictures for 2014. So thought I’d start one.

These are 2 Smallmouth from Mille Lacs last weekend. A 20 1/2 inch and 19 incher. My partner and I had over 25 fish.

Overall had a good time, wind was excessive. Monday had 43 mph, which made getting out on some reefs for Walleyes out of the question.

I know a LOT of Great Bass have been already boated this year

    already, Please Post away,

    Best of luck everyone.

    Jack

Younger one has 18.5″, and my oldests first smallie. Younger daughter always fishes with dad, which is why she has no problem holding it, working on the oldest

We caught these 5 lbs piggys back to back in the slackwater atop a beaver damn. They smoked spinners as soon as they hit the water. It was a great end to a slow night.

The season is still young but has been good!

The pictures are from last weeks trip to Chequamegon Bay,
and late April on Pickwick/Wheeler Reserviors and a few hours on Lake St. Clair…

The 17lb Striper was on my life(bucket)list for fishing. It hit a 6″ Swimbait fished on the surface…DX743 Dobyns rod, Lews Tourney Pro reel and 12# Tatsu fluoro. The hardest fighting fish I have ever battled. You bass guys need to tangle with one of these!

June 1st was one of three days spent on Mille Lacs. A unique SMB / LMB double. A nice 21.5 SMB (my PB). And my partner that day Oly got a nice 21 inch SMB.

My 5 year old got this nice 13″ on a bobber and a 1″ gulp minnow on Sunday.
He ended up with this LMB and 15 sunnies to go with it. We had a blast.

    KB75,
    Great getting your son out,
better be careful tho: You’ll have a partner
    for life.

    Daryle and Oly,
Great looking Smallies, that looks awfully familiar.
    Awesome,
    Jack

He did it again. This is his second week in a row he got the only bass, they were both nice ones. This one looks like it was almost a meal for a northern or something.

Here is a very nice Largemouth that Robert caught with me
on a Mpls west metro lake this week.
It measure just under 20 inches with a very heavy body. A
    very solid 5 pounder.
    Thanks for going out Robert.

My 3 year old’s first bass. She wants me to “make her pole heavy again”. How awesome is that!
