The FLW tournament next week is at Lake Hartwell in South Carolina. I have been hoping to get to a southern bass destination this spring and wouldn’t be at Hartwell, but there are 2 lakes just North of there by Greenville, SC called Jocasse and Keowee. Anyone ever fish there? I have heard it is excellent but they are big bodies of water.

I also just found out that Lake Jocasse will be featured on next week’s episode of “Hook & Look” on the Outdoor channel. Lake Jocasse is known as one of the prettiest and clearest lakes in the Appalachian area, with little development, great waterfalls and scenery. A mixture of largemouth, smallmouth and striped bass. I am tentatively planning on going there in a couple weeks on business but don’t know if I’ll have time to fish but hope so.
