Anybody else watch the classic on live blog or the weigh in live via the internet?? Pretty cool to see Randy Howell come from 11th place all the way to the top and win it the final day. Seems like a pretty humble guy and I like that 
I also respect the fact he said he caught a number of his fish on Rapalas even though they are not his official sponsor. It will be neat to see the entire tournament next weekend on ESPN2.
Randy is quite possibly the most humble guy on tour. Very family oriented and a flat out awesome guy. I’m not a super religious guy but randy is big on his faith. However the stars alligned this up not much better a guy could have won. I have through rep stuff been in Randy’s company numerous times. Never been less than 100% impressed by his sincere love for fishing and family. Awesome win for a great guy!!!

Paul Mueller is a personal friend of mine…broke the all time record for a I day bag (32.3) and overcame a 9# 1st day to only lose by a pound. In his first classic.

So how bad do you think mueller wants a do over for day one. I’m glad to see randy win, he seems like a great guy. I thought it was a great classic this year, its to bad the weather didn’t cooperate better there could have been a lot of huge bags.
Mueller lost two 8 lbers that came unbuttoned on Traps…He stuck with chatterbaits after that…cost him the Classic.
This kid is in his first year… I’ll be fishing lake St. Clair with him in Sept….Ill tell you what… Several Elites said this kid is the most capable rookie they have ever seen. He has never fished in that area before…took a day for him to figure it out.
Howell is a class act!
