Andy Young a local fisherman finished 1st at a Bassmaster Open tourney at Lake Amistad in Texas on Sat. I have meet Andy several times and he is a 1st class guy and a heck of a great fisherman. He was in 2nd place going into the final day and trailed the leader by over 10 Lb’s. Andy and most everyone else was thinking he was just fishing for 2nd place. The leader who had back to back 18Lb. days came in with only 1 fish on the final day and fell to 3rd ( ouch !!!! 
) for the 1st place Andy took home a new Triton Boat ( $40,000 + ) plus over $7,000 cash plus another 1,500 in Toyota bonus. Not a bad payday for 3 days of fishing ( In warmer weather )In addition to all the $ he also get a automatic entry into next years Bassmasters classic. There has only been a few fishermen from Minnesota who have ever had that chance. Once again Congrat’s 
to a great fisheman and even nicer guy.
