The wacky rig has been a good producer using a small number of color choices, Tex rigged weightless and of course a bass spinner bait in two certain colors in 3/8 oz size.

That’s far to sophisticated for a redneck, better be a coors or Milwaukee’s best ice

Bud is for soaking brats on the grill

For bass, you need to do it with style..

Texas Rigged plastic worms all the way. Works on walleye too, if you are into that sort of thing.

A good ole 6-8 inch warm in motor oil color rigged weedless with no weight. Crawl that sucker across the weeds and let it drop in every opening or pitch into the thickest tree limbs I can find crawling over the limbs and letting it fall. Deep water structure may have to add some weight just to save time.

A jig or a crank or even a spinnerbait depending on the conditions

Jig/worm is tough to beat up here, but I love fishing the Rapala DT6-DT10. There is something about fishing crankbaits that I love. The DT series is as good as it gets. I also love fishing the lipless cranks from Kopper Live Target. I’d fish them a lot more if the pike weren’t so numerous.
