Cross between a Muddler Minnow and a Dahlberg Diver!

I know of a place you should try those for pike in June!

It takes me about 20 minutes. The hard part for me is trimming it into shape.

Let’s do it BK. When was the last time you went fly fishing for Pike? Extreme fly fishing

No need to wait till June! I’m sure we can find some warm water in Mexico. You drive; and I’ll tie on the way though we might need to stop and hit some reds on the way

Randy that’s really nice! I haven’t figured out how to stack hair and get it bunched tight like that. I always spin it around the hook, which limits what you can do with colors.

Remember the trip James made to Louisiana for Reds? I was watching those guys pitch jigs up against the weeds and thinking how much fun you could have had with a fly rod.

    Great looking bug!

That was a trip I’ll not soon forget. 3 guys in the boat. All three guys stray low and quiet as the boat slips quietly up to a huge school of tailing reds. At the word “go” everyone casts and withing seconds of the baits hitting the water all three anglers are hooked up with s giant red.

It isn’t a cheap trip given the distance but it is definitely worth it.

Well duh, I got it from a deer

Hey you knew that one was going to happen. Yes, this was deer hair from a deer you shot. Thanks!

Rootski, if you put up the hide and dye hair, shoot me a PM with your contact info. I’ll send ya some Antelope belly patches from out last few goats. Perfect hollow hair!
