My buddy Jake’s gf Jenna wrangled these two hawgs in Saturday. They went 24″ and 22 1/2″ I believe. Just unreal.

Thursday my buddies Jake and Chad caught two MA LMB at the same exact time, and they both went 20 1/2″. The biggest one I could manage was 19 1/2″. We had 6 over 19″, Jake having 4 of those. Then today another couple MA bass came out of the same pit. I believe there was 7 or 8 in 3 days. Best bass fishing I’ve ever been a part of.

Water Temp = 57-59 degrees, caught on Rapala CNC-55 in Brown Crawdad. The first one is 20″ and the second is 17″. Both were released.

Finally got my MA LMB this year. This one went 21″, but wasn’t even 4lbs. I’m guessing it’s a male either protecting or working on a bed with that roughed up tail. Any insight would be nice, I’m curious. Sure was fun when he stuck a jig-n-pig!

Good times with the boys. Live target gizzard shad, hair jigs and swim jigs have all been getting attention. River life is great

Here’s a 20 incher I caught Friday evening at a private pit. Smacked a Bomber Square A. That crank has become a major weapon for me!

Been having fun fishing evenings into dusk in a small lake a few miles from the house. Most these fish were caught in 0-2′ using jigs and tubes. No huge fish but I’ll take 16-20″ fish 10 minutes from home any day.

Last photo is of the little guys contribution to our bag for Pan o Prog Tournament. Had a good time, but couldn’t fill a full limit. Lots of smalls and lost 2 big ones that would have put us in the money. Still a good experience for the 9 year old.

I’ve been questioning that myself, QB. This particular pit had water going into it, but now with our low water, there hasn’t been any in 2 years now. I know there’s little to no shad or anything like that in it, and I’m thinking there aren’t many panfish for them to chomp on either. You should see some of the others I’ve pulled out recently….REAL slim. I hope we get water!
