The wife really loves to fish frogs ( Like the rest of us she goes crazy when a nice one blows up on it ) We find ourselfs childless this weekend and I thought I’d get her out to do a little fishing. Anyone found a good frog bite lately? Thanks in advance for any info. you care to share. Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

With the forecast of cooler weather and bright sunny skies, I would look to Frogs in the early morning in the edges of Pads with more open water between then go to the really thick stuff or switch to jig worms or crankbaits when the Sun is high.

Good Luck, Nothing like the action and EXPLOSION of a 4lb+ Crushing a Frog.

I haven’t been out there yet but I’d go hit lotus in chanhassen. There’s always a great frog bite in the slop!

Sorry man, the only place that popped into my head was pool 4. That place in Chanhassen sounds interesting though

I have a buddy that has been whacking toads down in the backwater lakes of pool 4(wabasha), otherwise we caught some nice ones, 17-19 inches on Orchard in Lakeville, as well as lots of 2-3lbers.
