    Another day where I say…”I love my job!”

    I took out 8 yr old Spencer Plut fishing yesterday with his Grampa Don Jacobs, and dad David Plut on a 1/2 day trip…(kids under 16 are free)
    Young Spencer CPRed two huge Largemouth all by himself…WOW!!!! The hot bait was a Junebug/Chart Trigger X Spadetail worm on a Drop Shot rig, 6 lb Sufix Fluorocarbon… Limit Creek LC66MF rod… Dad has better pics and a video, which I hope to post soon.
    Best part is THIS KID IS HOOKED ON FISHING!!! I let him keep the rubber Rapala gloves, that was the only way that he would hold the fish…

    Congrats to Spencer. What a joy it is to give boys a love for fishing. I just took my 5 year old boy on a camping/fishing trip a few weekends ago and he caught his first bass by himself on a frog pulling it over the slop. I had greater joy seeing the smile on his face than any of the times I’ve caught one myself. Thanks for sharing!
