Present Bass Fishing

    I am going out bass fishing tomorrow morning at a weedy pond and need to know what to use. What should I start off throwing in the early morning?

    A Spook might be a great choice, but if you’re fishing from the bank, there might just a few too many hooks in the water if it’s fairly weedy.

    Buzz baits, other topwater lures, and then throw some spinnerbaits when it gets later in the morning.

    Now for some odd reason yesterday, I couldn’t get the bass to bite on anything topwater. So I pitched plastics on the weedline and caught a fair amount of 2-3lb bass. It was a good time, but I wish I could have caught bigger. I also tried using bass jigs with a trailer on it and couldn’t get them to bite with that either. Anyone know why? Was it too early in the morning for them to be down deep? Time(6pm-8pm)
