I went fishing today and didnt do so well. With the cold front moving away, I think i will do better tomorrow. Anyways, all the fish I caught today were small and around 1 lb. I used topwater, brush hogs on the bottom, and tubes. They all produced the small thing, small bass! And the pond I fish is very weedy on the bottom. Is there something I did wrong? What should/can I do differently for tomorrow to catch the big ones?

Where are you fishing?river, dirty lake or clear lake? it makes a diffrence how you aproach it. I see the pros in Lacrosse had 95 limits in 98 guys 14#s for top 20 day 1 so they allways bite somewhere!

Slow down your approach and methodically pick apart the weeds

okay i guess i havent tried that b4. So if i fish at night, what should i use for bait? Keep in mind the pond it weedy, clear water, and has a fountain in the corner of the pond <if that helps any>.
