Looking at the web page for BASS I see they have only pools 7 and 8 listed as tourney waters. Is this true and if so where is the closest ramp to Genoa dam? I will be coming up from Prairie Du Chein.

I believe the tourney days are June 21st to the 24th. I know they are launching out of the West Clinton street landing. I believe the official name is Veterans Memorial Park.

The closest ramp to the Genoa Damn (pool 9) is by the Genoa Power Plant (tail waters). It’s free of charge and will accomodate the biggest and baddest fishing rigs you’ll see on the Mississippi. It can be quite a busy ramp on any given Saturday, Sunday, or major holiday. Plan accordingly.

Is the ramp at the Wildcat park in Minnesota side a good ramp? If the tourney is limited to 7 and 8 pools I will probably stay in 8 and run around observing. I’m hoping though they can come down to 9
