For years the old Mini Mite was a pet bait of mine, next to but below the Culprit paddletail of course. a couple of things really irked me about those MM’s though. First, that tail button was foreven getting nipped of by sunfish. Then that hook liked to break off right at the head and heaven forbit if you tied to straighten a hook that managed to bend without breaking. The one superior irk was having to buy a bunch of different colors of plastics to get a combination that really worked good. Mike Smith, HookedOnFishing’s original owner managed to get some decent combination of colors ordered, but that still left us with the other two dilemnas. Enter the newbie.

This bait is essentially the same length as the MM but that’s about where the significant changes occur. You won’t find colors like the ones shown in any MM display which is only one of the differences. Now bring on some open water.

I walked a couple of these down to the Zumbro River behind our house this morning and found a crappie and a walleye willing to come out and play.

Did you really mean to post this in the bass forum?

Nice baits, btw, are those your favorite colors?
