BPS Pro Qualifier rods

    Anybody like these rods?

    I got a citica on clearance and just can’t decide what rod to get. Problem is, I am not near places that have most of the rods I have been looking at, so all I can really go off of is reviews.
    Number one choice right now is a falcon bucoo, just based off of reviews. I do really like the feel of the Veritas I got for my dad, but would like to take a try at something else.

    I do not personally own a pro qualifer rod, but I have heard more good than bad opinions on them, take a look at last years model of the Shimano Crucials also. American Legacy Fishing Company has many models of the Crucials on sale for a little over a hundred dollars, regular price around $149. Great rods, I bought a few a while back for $104 online, no tax free shipping too.

    I do – have had good luck with them

    I got like six extremes for 50 bucks each
    3 for me and 3 for freinds when they were on sale
    we all liked them – light well made rod back then

    I like all the features of the pro qualifier rods. handle perfect for me. wait for a sale, pull the trigger. If you can wait, try and get to a bass pro to get hands on. they have a good return policy. Falcon good too.

    Thanks for the responses, they are on clearance right now for $80, otherwise I would of never considered getting one. Nearest BPS is like 250 miles away, so its not often I get to check out rods before I buy. Wish they showed how much they weigh. I know the bucoos are supposed to be about 4 oz.
