Was out a couple of time, this weekend.

Caught some small fish in the shallow milfoil but did not connect with anything larger that a couple of pounds.

Pan fish are high in the water over 12 feet, muskies are feeding on them…

Bass – could not find them.

We had a cold front come thru, the nights are now colder –

Did anyone find larger bass – where? Deep?

Should be a great week of weather, this week

We did well last week out to Waconia. My parner caught a 6.2 – Fished pool 2 on Sat. caught a nice mix of SM, LM and white bass – No really big fish but still alot of fun. My parner did break off a really nice SM bass ( in the 4-5 Lb. range )I’ve caught more large bass this year that any that I can remember ( Sorry to rub it in ) Just my year I guess

out yesterday, got fish in the 16-20 foot depths off teh break. Fish where on breaks that was close to where to deeper water was quickly accessable. Meaning it dropped to 25+ feet realtively close.

Majority fish came on jigs fishing with more hoping and jig rattling.

I second that. I was out twice this past weekend and had little to show for it. Pretty humbling. I tried slop, pads, rocks, breaks, punching, docks, milfoil – nothing but dinks. Must be a weather thing, same spots have been producing all year on the same lake. I better figure it out soon though!

I have some schools on deep rocks and the fish were noticeably smaller.

Still got big fish on the rocks next to weeds though…

I spent several days on 10. At first there seemed to be a lot of aggressive lm in the pads. However, it became obvious that the size began to shrink and then the number. I am not complaining, even the small ones are fun to watch trying to grab the lure through the pads ect. Today had several blow ups from small pike and dogs and boated 2 9″ and a 3.33# lm. Past years I have given up this time of the year. I would like the answer also
