    My wife and I have been having a BLAST just picking and poking around the river, pitching and casting to several points on both the Wisconsin River and Mississippi River..

    The best bait hands down has been the BfishN Tackle 3/16on Precision Jig and a Purple Chartreuse Tail Paddle Tail…

    Just work this bait in a minnow fashion and the fish will not let you down !!! Anywhere from 1/2 foot to 8 feet of water will take SM Bass, LM Bass, Stripers, Sheepies, Walleyes, Northern Pike and even a hard fighting cat fish !!!

    Great time no doubt !!! and there is better times to come… With the river head’n closer to normal levels and the grass picking up(makes for nasty fishing) I am going to try to lean hard on dragon jigs.. going with the flow will no doubt keep the grass at a minimum !!

    Look at the smallie Deb is holding… the jig was stuck way down in the roof of it’s mouth !!!

    The white paddle tail and k-grub was a close second… I think I have some solid purple k-grubs I wanna try next time out
