    Anyone been out, lately?

What have the fish been doing? I was out from 1-5 on Friday and caught them pretty good in the outside edge of the milfoil.

Weeds have caught up from slow spring. Fish are buried in them. Jig bite has been tremendously good. Hours have been limited as I am not a fan of the recent heat.

in the twin cities, I am finding fish in the summer spots. deep edges with cranks, jigs and d-shots are working. Haven’t gooten a good top water bite yet.
the pleasure boats this year seem to be everywhere and crazier than usual at the launches.

    was that too vague?

Overall fishing has been good this summer, it seems as though the lakes have all had a pretty good year classes as catch and size rates for my boat are up.

I am getting fish on cranks, drop shots, senkos and jigs mainly. I haven’t had much success wih jigs-although i don’t fish them as much.

LOL, maybe not vague enough. Just about every bass guy I know has a special lake located in the S or SW metro.
