    This Girl did today!
Same guy(Rich H , Norway MI) that I netted the 8.5 lber for a few weeks back… I didn’t have my scale today, so couldn’t weigh her but I’ll bet she’s over 6 lbs… Didn’t have my camera either but actually figured out how to use the camera function on the LG cell phone

BTW…He’s starting to believe I’m a pretty good guide

    Nice fish

Been using Senko’s for several years with similar results, but have yet to find the kind of fish you are talking about. This bait is so versatile it’s one of my go to baits, especially when the bite is tough… Congrats

If you don’t mind me asking, how do you hook them, weedless or wacky?

    Thanks,

Here ya go…remember this is a 6’8″ ex basket ball player…which makes this 24.5″ more impressive.

    Foxman and Hairjig

When I fish Senkos in deeper water (18-25 fow) I usually just Texas rig them weedless (point tucked a tad) using a 1/8 or 3/16 bullet weight.Rich H was using a 7’3″ Dobyns MLF Spin rod, 10# Sufix Flouro, and a Gammy 4/0 EWG worm hook.

These are the bigger Senkos, as in this pic from last week.

I do wacky rig them in shallower water, w/o weights…they ase also effective.
