River Depth Finder

    I fish the Mississippi River north of Little Falls. The river with the exception of right near downtown LF is fairly shallow. I am looking for some advice on purchasing a depth finder ($100-$300) for this type body of water. Any advice you guys can forward is appreciated. Thanks Skabordio

    get yourself a vexilar fl-8 or a marcum lx-5, that section of river a good flasher is all yuou need. Also will do double duty as your on ice unit!
