Ha! He was begging for me to take the rod, I wouldn’t let him, he was wiped out…and then for the pic, luckily the first pic was a good one because he couldn’t hold it any longer for a vertical pic…

And I was able to catch my ALLTIME biggest Smallie at 22 inches and over 6 pounds. I hooked it up 4 minutes before our tournament time ended and took a full (clocked) 8 minutes to land it on 8 pound mono. I could absolutely not believe the size and girth of this fish.
It was my best ever complete Mille Lacs tournament (paper tourney) with the culled Bass limit and Walleye limit.

Here’s a few from this summer. I’m not much of a bass guy, so everything was caught in search of another flavor. The last one is a 21 1/2″ pig from the Croix that was gut hooked, and by the time I got him out of the water, he was bleeding pretty bad… so now he’s in the process of gettin pretty for my wall!

Here are a few pictures of my wife Katie’s and my trip to Lake Toho, Fla this week.

My fish pics are of the same Largemouth, 8.6 pounds (formula) 24″ x 16 1/2, my third largest ever LM. The last one is a 23″- 7 pounder.
