Took a couple of my buddies kids out for youth duck hunt and it was a fast, furious, and a quick hunt! They started at first second of legal taking out some teal already in decoys and for 27 minutes it was as fast as I could keep them loaded. They didn’t take a single shot over 35 yds with most almost to close! Ended it with 8 teal and 4 woodies. Of course as I was picking up decoys we had flocks of mallards and gaddies wanting into the set even with me in the middle of it.
I sure hope half the number of birds hang out in the area for next weekends opener down here it will be a fun weekend if they do!
