Been out on Geneva and Delevan approx a dozen or so times this spring with little to no luck. Anyone else live down this way that would like to meet and fish one of these lakes together for a morning or afternoon. I have an open seat for anyone who wants to give it a shot. Also would be cool to meet some IDO members down here.

Actually it can. Lol. I’m an hour S/E of the Rock and 2 hours S/E of Wisconsin. I have been following those threads though. I’ve heard the rock this time of year with as little rain that we’ve had can be a real prop destroyer. I’m looking to get a smaller flat bottom boat so I can get in on some of these smaller rivers closer to home. Until then I’ll just keep putting the miles on!

    Hey Tim,

I am in Menomonee Falls so from my house to the ramp at the bypass on the rock is 1 hour 15 minutes. From home to blackwolf launch on Winnebago is 60 minutes. 20 minutes to McKinley marina for Lake Michigan. Hour to Delavan. So I hear ya. Always looking for a good stick to fish with when schedule allows (stupid work!!). BTW those guys on the Rock River thread are a bunch of yahoos and don’t trust them but then again they taught me a lot of what I know so that makes me one of them right? LOL.

Watch out for Bola right now. He is owning the Rock…

What are you fishing for on Delavan? I have a season pass for the lake, but haven’t bee there yet this year…. just got hooked on the early Lake Michigan fun, and Winnebago lately. With the slime reports on Delevan, I have been saving my time until later. Ran into that last year, and it really takes a lot of the ruin out of fishing the lake.

Geneva can be a tough one for sure…

This spring I have been targeting walleye. Picked up a couple small ones the second weekend after opener on cranks. was able to find a pretty decent bass bite up in the condos.

I spent some time on Lake Michigan early this spring jigging in the harbor and had a blast. I do not have a kicker motor and trolling gear so that is what has been keeping me off Lake Michigan for now.

Located in Oconomowoc. Lake Country with several lakes all within a few miles of each other and the Big Pond less than an hour away. Great opportunities all year long!
