I’m in need of a new vet, my old vet retired and I don’t care for the crew who took over his office.
I’m looking for some where near 35w south of Burnsville.

Any input would be greatly apreciated.

My niece used to work at Akin Hills in Farmington… right on Pilot Knob… she liked it there and she is a picky person.

We’ve been using Dakota Pet Hospital in Lakeville for 11 years and have always been happy with them.

My old vet was Burnsville animal clinic.
Dr. Steven Skilling was always very thorough and always looking to improve.

Dr Howard was our old vet at Savage Tower Animal Hospital and recently retired.
We are seeing the same thing you are seeing with the new people so we are looking also.

Savage Tower is where my mom brings her cats. Was going to recommend them because the last time I had to bring one in for an emergency they were great. Will have to see if my mom has noticed a difference.

I have only used one so far and have had a few issues with recurrent problems never really being fixed and them telling us to do the same things/remedies every time. I guess the only way to know if they actually suck is to see other vets. Don’t want to throw their name out there just yet but they are in Eagan. Have my dog going for a dental eval(chipped canine) Monday morning at a different place and they will supposedly do an all-around physical, too, so will be interesting to see and compare.

Just a note, most veterinary practices have been swamped for the past year due to more new pet owners and owners spending more time with their pets. Some haven’t been accepting any new clients due to the massive volume increase. Patience is greatly appreciated by the vets and the staff, as they have been putting in some very long hours.

Just putting that out there if it was just a single visit where you were dissatisfied.

No, we’ve been there a half dozen times over the last 8-12 months. We’ll see what this other place has to say later today.
