With the recent warmup just giving a heads up on ice and fishing. Accesses look like early March but ice still good. Found 17 to 18 inches yeaterday all over some places more. Perch bite spotty walleye bite good morning and evenings. I had 11 guys stay with me this past weekend and limits of eyes all around and a few perch. Heard of a few bigger bags of perch but lot of groups still searching. Weather looks good for the upcoming week. Anyone looking for lodging don’t hesitate to call me at 952 412 5092 or email at [email protected] I do not personally guide but would be happy to put you in touch with some of the reputable good ones in the area. Good luck to all getting out. QB

I’m headed up to Waubay on Thursday. Anybody know if they are driving on the ice up there or how thick it is?

Was just out there the last 2 weekends with my 1 ton. At least 20″ of ice, just have to stay away from the heavs. Good luck!

Just got back yesterday from out there and yes they are driving everywhere it looked like. The only place I actually measured was 19″

Just got back and we saw 18-24″ where we were fishing.

Didn’t fish Waubay but in the general vicinity.
