South Dakota Border Waters

Planning a trip to Traverse and maybe Big Stone on the South Dakota Border
Will I need a South Dakota License??

Page 44 of the 2016 regs:

What license do I need to fish border waters?
•Minnesota residents must have a Minnesota license.
•Residents of a bordering state must have their state’s resident license.
•Other non-residents may purchase a Minnesota or the bordering state’s non-resident license

Would also suggest you read it more thoroughly, seasons and limits differ vs inland regs. Good luck if you go.
