I want to get a pair of these for watching recorded shows when I use my x-country ski machine. It is kind of loud to hear the dialogue. These will only be used for watching tv. Don’t need mega base sound or anything like that. On my research one guy said get RF not bluetooth for more consistent connection. Don’t know if that’s true.

BT is more convenient if your TV has it built in because you don’t need a dongle and can connect it to anything with BT like phone or laptop. RF is better though. Sound quality is better but don’t think it matters for TV really, range and connection is probably better but probably doesn’t matter for being in front of TV, but most importantly for TV RF has no noticeable lag and BT sometimes does.

Treblab Z2. I use my for working out at the club which is really noisy and have even wore them moving the lawn. They are $89 on Amazon.

If it’s for working out, don’t overlook wireless in-ear, noise cancelling earbuds as well. Bose makes a great pair, they stay snug and easily connect via Bluetooth to any smart device, which I’ve had zero problems with strong, clear connectivity. You hardly know you have them in, and they zone out the noise like you wouldn’t believe. I use them on the elliptical machine to watch Netflix. I also put them in on car trips because the wife likes crap music and feels the need to sing along to every stupid song. rotflol

Thanks for the feedback so far. The guy at Best Buy mentioned the possible lag with Bluetooth. Distance at most will be 15 feet from TV.
Not really an ear bud guy but maybe? I’ve always used over-the-ear. I’m old. I’ll be going on MediCare in Sept, better get a Hurrycane too while I’m at it. rotflol

I do use Bluetooth at home for TV and don’t have lag. In my case it’s a Chromecast playing the video and has BT built in. I think if you have built-in Bluetooth in same device playing video they must account for any lag. If you have to use a Bluetooth adapter plugged into an audio output then I have seen lag before.

I need a new TV for the basement since the old one crapped out. I don’t think any TV in the house is Bluetooth compatible.
