Big fish pics are great. But a father’s pride can be found elsewhere.

It’s pretty awesome being a Dad. Taking my little guy camping and trout fishing this weekend.

My girls are about grown up now, 21 and 24. So I’m heading towards the other side of the spectrum.
I never thought I could have the patience to be a father. Normally I’m very demanding and set very high expectations. Sometimes unrealistic. But after teaching them about all I could about life, work ethics, and being responsive, I learned more than I could imagine. They taught me how to be a father, when to be a friend, how to be a better husband, and how to be a true leader.
You nailed it with a Fathers pride. Our kids didn’t come with tech sheets, owners manuals… trial and error. As I enjoy this stage in life, I still sit in awe that my girls have given my life so much meaning and purpose. Definitely a feeling that’s nearly indescribable. All I can say is I hope you get to enjoy the same
